Faria Online Schools (FOS) comprises Wolsey Hall Oxford, Wolsey Hall for Schools, and Pamoja Education. This website provides information about FOS and links to our three schools.

2. What personal data we collect

We may collect the following personal data when you use this website:

  • Contact form: name, email address, telephone number, and your message.
  • Email sign-up form: name and email address.
  • Embedded social media and review content: we display feeds or widgets from Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, and Trustpilot. These embeds load automatically when you visit the page. When they load, the relevant platform may collect technical data (eg IP address, browser details) and set cookies. Each platform acts as an independent data controller; please refer to their own privacy notices for details.

3. Cookies and analytics

This website uses analytics and marketing cookies to help us understand how visitors use our site and to improve our communications.

4. How we use your personal data

We use your personal data to:

  • respond to your enquiry or request;
  • provide you with information about our schools if you sign up to receive it;
  • display our social media and review content on the site.

5. Legal basis for using your data

We process your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) on the following legal bases:

  • Article 6(1)(f) – Legitimate interests (responding to enquiries; promoting our services; operating the site and its embeds);
  • Article 6(1)(a) – Consent (email sign-up/marketing communications; analytics/marketing cookies via CookieYes).

You may withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.

6. Who we share your data with

  • Contact and sign-up form submissions are delivered to and stored in a secure Microsoft Outlook inbox and accessed only by authorised FOS staff.
  • Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Trustpilot may receive data when their content loads; they act as independent controllers for that data.

We do not sell or otherwise share your personal data with third parties.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Enquiry form submissions: retained in the Outlook inbox for up to 24 months if the individual does not go on to enrol or become a contact.
  • Email sign-up data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We keep a minimal suppression record (email address and opt-out status) thereafter to ensure we do not contact you again for direct marketing.
  • Social/review embeds: we do not store this data; it is collected directly by the relevant platform when content loads.

8. International data transfers

Because FOS is part of a global organisation (Faria Education Group), your personal data may be accessed by authorised staff based outside the United Kingdom (UK) and European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States and Asia (for example, Singapore and Hong Kong).

Where we transfer or make data accessible outside the UK/EEA, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect it, including:

  • using countries that have been granted an adequacy decision by the UK government (where applicable), and
  • where this is not available, using standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or other approved data transfer mechanisms, together with appropriate security measures and access controls.
